Australian Journal of Politics and History
Aims to publish scholarly research and writing of the highest quality. The journal enjoys a wide and diverse readership in the fields of history and political studies, of both Australia and modern Europe, along with intellectual history, political theory and the history of political thought, international politics and Australian foreign policy. Contributors must address a significant research problem which would be of general interest to those working in the above fields. The editors welcome new contributions of 6,000 to 8,000 words, in the preferred referencing style, in both hard copy and electronic format.

Labour & Industry
Labour & Industry, a journal of the social and economic relations of work, is sponsored by the Association of Industrial Relations Academics of Australia and New Zealand and published by the Union Research Centre on Organisation and Technology, RMIT. The contributions of the Review Editor are supported by the School of Political Science and International Studies, University of Queensland.
The Journal has a critical readership of academics and students in Australia and New Zealand across numerous disciplines: Industrial Relations, Labour Economics, Labour Law, Labour History, Industrial Sociology, Political Economy, Management and Public Policy. The Executive Editors are Dr Iain Campbell, RMIT; Dr Bruce Wilson, URCOT; Dr Sara Charlesworth, RMIT; Ray Jureidini, Monash University, and; Santina Bertone, Victoria University, Melbourne. The Book Review Editor is Dr Chris Diamond, SPSIS, UQ. The journal is published three time a year - in April, August and December. Social Alternatives
Social Alternatives is a quarterly magazine which seeks to analyse cultural and economic oppression, and to develop alternative proposals for social change. Past issues have dealt with: Peace Studies, Social Welfare, Sexism, Radical Democracy, The Media, Racism, Inequality & Poverty, Mental Health, The Environment, Globalisation, Ageism, and Development.
The editors welcome practical and theoretical articles between 1,000 and 3,000 words on any of these topics. Submissions in hard copy should be accompanied by a version on disk in any IBM word-processing format. For stylistic conventions please consult the Australian Government Publishing Service's Style Manual.
